Tchaikovsky’s “The Nutcracker” Live at the Collins Center for the Arts with the Bangor Symphony Orchestra and the Robinson Ballet

nutcrackerSunday’s platinum scored performance of Peter Ilich Tchaikovsky’s  “The Nutcracker” at the Collins Center for the Arts filled the arena with what we’ve come to know as part of a traditional experience. The much adorned stage in its many forms ornamented our surroundings with Christmas as it has come to be known through this magnificent piece of musical artistry. All the colors, costumes, and talent were barely contained as the aptitude of ability stormed the floor with a hundred thousand toes and musical notes while Tchaikovsky’s masterpiece filled the atmosphere. The Bangor Symphony Orchestra flawlessly delivered our fill of every delightful and anticipated theme while the Robinson Ballet and their soaring magnificence guided us through a visual menagerie in a perfect marriage of music and dance. There are many traditions our families share with each other. This tradition is one we may share with each other at a most precious time of year at the graceful Collins Center for the Arts.
