Ringo Starr is a living legend on a rescue mission. Not only has he always been the best actor out of the fab four, but was undoubtedly handed the mantle of singing all of the fun songs in those classic Beatle days. He saved Pepperland from Blue Meanies, played in the octopus’ garden, and shouted the words to the Yellow Submarine from the rooftops to all of the land. They certainly musically changed the world. Well, now Ringo, the coolest Beatle, is still saving the day by bringing all of the lost talent he can find together in his travelling mission show with his All Starr Band, rejuvenating past gems with a new grace. Ringo ever so humbly shares the spotlight with his band of merry men, content to man the drum kit on which part of his history is based with precision and flair. This ever-changing entourage of talent assembled with each of his All Starr tours openly hands over the spotlight with wonderful results. The recruits this time around consist of Richard Page (Mr. Mister), Mark Rivera (Billy Joel), Greg Rolie (Journey, Santana), Steve Lukather (Toto), the highly energetic Greg Bissonette, and Todd Rundren who has produced nearly everyone on the planet, with a special guest appearance by Joe Walsh. Ringo delivers his classic Beatle numbers and his own with unrelenting boyish charm, always the gentleman with peace and love at the helm. And all he wants to do…is boogaloo!
